Liz Hurley on Gossip Girl, Vinny leaves Jersey Shore, Joe Manganiello on White Collar and more

Elizabeth Hurley will appear on Gossip Girl next season as Diana Payne, who’s “a sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with.” Executive producers Stephanie Savage and Joshua Safran told TV Line that Hurley’s character will have a big impact on all the characters, especially Gossip Girl.

— Further proof that CBC shouldn’t sit on co-produced shows and air them the same time as the US or UK networks, Starz has cancelled Camelot citing production issues.

— No way! John Francis Dailey wrote the screenplay for Horrible Bosses – I still see him as Sam from Freaks & Greeks (despite him being on Bones).

— Gossip blog Crazy Days and Nights just revealed a huge load of blind items…Enjoy!

Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea as axed Natalie Morales, Angel Laketa Moore and Chelsea Lately roundtable regular Jo Koy. Looking forward to the next roundtable with Koy to see if there’s any tension (aside from all of Chelsea’s usual Koy insults). Meanwhile, I just got my hands on the pilot. I loved the book and can’t wait to check out the series.

Vinny seems to really be done with Jersey Shore.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter, Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy has joined the cast of Aaron Sorkin’s HBO pilot, More As This Story Develops. The series also stars Jeff Daniels, Emily Mortimer and Olivia Munn (I’m serious).

— In case you missed it: Kat interviewed John Barrowman (Torchwood: Miracle Day premieres on Saturday), Chord Overstreet won’t be back on Glee as a regular next season (although Darren Chris and Harry Shum, Jr. will) and Lisa Edelstein has joined The Good Wife.

— Here are some set photos of True Blood’s Joe Manganiello’s guest stint on White Collar, which will air in January:
