GH’s Jerry Jacks wants to slay Klaus on TVD, Weeds’ Silas to play Jesus, Harold & Kumar Xmas trailer and more

— Sebastian Roche (General Hospital, Supernatural) is joining The Vampire Diaries this upcoming season as a man who is hunting Klaus.

— Soap stars Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky, GH; ex-Diego, Y&R), Dylan Bruce (ex-Chris, ATWT) and Natalie Hall (Colby, AMC) have all signed on to the Hallmark Channel’s new miniseries, Love’s Christmas Journey.

— Weeds‘ Hunter Parrish will star as Jesus in the upcoming Broadway revival of Godspell.

— Montreal’s Vanessa Lengies has joined the cast of Glee in the recurring role of Sugar. According to TV Line, the role is described as “a cross between Molly Shannon and a New Jersey Housewife.” Although most people will remember Vanessa from American Dreams, you’ll earn extra points with us if you remember her on YTV’s Radio Active.

— Despite finding fame thanks to True Blood, Joe Manganiello wouldn’t mind making a return appearance on One Tree Hill. So far, Paul Johansson and Chris Keller himself, Tyler Hilton have signed up to appear on The CW soap’s final season.

— 20th Century Fox Television has signed a new deal with Sarah Chalke and they’ll being to develop a new half-hour comedy project for the former Scrubs, Roseanne and Mad Love star.

— Lifetime has picked up a series version of the TV movie Jennifer Love Hewitt made last year called, The Client List. The MOW was about a desperate housewife who ran a “day spa” (prostitution ring) to make money after her husband leaves her. So I guess it’s a bit like Weeds but with sex instead of drugs. Well good for JLH. 

— Seth MacFarlane has been tapped as the “Roast Master” for Comedy Central’s Roast of Charlie Sheen.

— NBC still wants to remake The Munsters and Frankenstein.

— BET’s The Mo’Nique Show is also cancelled.
