Suits star to guest on Orphan Black, SCTV reunion and more

SuitsPatrick J. Adams will guest star on Orphan Black as a “brave but regular guy named Jesse who lands in a ton of trouble when the clones enter his life.” Suits is set to return for the second half of its third season on March 6th while Orphan Black returns for its second season on April 19th.

— Global will stage an SCTV reunion with their new show Working the Engels as Martin Short and Eugene Levy stop by to visit Andrea Martin. The comedy, which was picked up by NBC stateside, focuses on a family who must band together and take charge of the family law firm after their father passes away. Also look for Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall) to guest star while Jason Priestley (Call Me Fitz, Beverly Hills 90210) has signed on to direct four episodes.

— Comedy Central has renewed Tosh.0 for three more seasons.

— Telltale, who have worked on The Walking Dead video games, are working with HBO to create a game based on Game of Thrones.

— Get ready for some more united hate-tweeting events! NBC is developing more live musicals after the “success” of The Sound of Music Live!

— This upcoming season of Californication will be its last.

Scandal season has been cut to 18 episodes instead of 22 due to Kerry Washington‘s pregnancy.

— Great news for fans of Happy Endings south of the border. VH1 has picked up all 57 episodes and will air a marathon beginning New Years Eve at 8 p.m. For Canadians, the entire series has recently been made available on Netflix.

— In an effort to “save” Sean Saves the World, NBC is planning a Will & Grace reunion which will see Megan Mullally reunite with Sean Hayes.

Kevin Pollak will play Anna Faris‘s dad on Mom.

The Young and the Restless has cast Ray Wise (Twin Peaks, Reaper) as Dylan’s (Steve Burton) cult-leader father on The Young and the Restless. TV Line reports that the actor starts filming his scenes this Friday and begins airing on January 23rd.
