Chelsea Handler’s manager Irving Azoff has told The Hollywood Reporter that the comedienne is expected to end her popular late night talk show after eight years when her contract with E! expires later this year.
A spokesperson for the NBCUniversal network told THR that Handler still has nine months left on her contract and would not comment further on the future of Chelsea Lately.
Azoff, who has also represented Christina Aguilera, the Eagles and Thirty Seconds to Mars, told the Hollywood trade magazine that Handler has at least seven possible suitors should she leave E!, including a radio presence or another talk show (either weekly or nightly) at another network or digital service.
Handler’s current book, Uganda Be Kidding Me is now in stores and will be appear at Casino Rama in Ontario on May 22.
Chelsea Lately airs weeknights at 11 p.m. on E!
