NBCUniversal’s streaming service hayu will launch is coming to Canada. The streamer will offer Canadians their fix on more than 150 reality shows including Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Vanderpump Rules, Shah’s of Sunset, Made in Chelsea and The Real Housewives franchise.
Canadian have been able to watch their favourite reality guilty pleasures on specialty networks like E! Canada and Slice, but don’t have the ability to stream past seasons. All that is about to change!
The subscription-based streaming service was launched in 2016 and is currently available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Episodes of made available to stream or “download to go” following their U.S. broadcasts.
NBCUniversal has yet to confirm a launch date or how much the service will cost Canadians. CBS All Access launched a Canadian version of its streaming platform for $5.99 a month.
