Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and the team work together to avert a war with China in tonight’s finale of the 24: Live Another Day event series. I’ve seen the finale and it’s great! Here are five things that I’m (hopefully) allowed to spill.
#1 — The following takes place between 10:00 PM and 11:00 AM
Yes, the time jump happens! While the major events occur at night, look for a flash forward to take place in the last fifteen minutes of the episode. By then, you’ll be relieved it’s the morning.
#2 — Will there will be a silent clock?
No fake out this time like they did with President Heller (William Devane) at Wembley Stadium. 24 started what Game of Thrones is known for. There’s a big moment that will have you screaming.
#3 — More Jack and Chloe
Jack (Kiefer Sutherland) manages to find Chloe (Mary Lyn Rajskub) on the side of the road and we’ll get more Jack and Chloe time as she assists him on one last mission.
#4 — Don’t count out the Russians.
Sure, Jack will be all about hunting down Cheng Zhi and averting the war with China, but don’t count out the Russians. They still want Jack.
#5 — Sequel potential?
Yes, the ending leaves the door open for another season or even a movie with a new setting. Kudos for Jon Cassar and his crew for developing an amazing miniseries.
The finale of 24: Live Another Day airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Global and Fox.
How did you enjoy this event series? Are you hoping for another season?
