— The Big Brother Canada companion series, Big Brother Canada Side Show will return next season and will be up-sized to an hour. Host Arisa Cox will be joined once again by season one contestants Peter Brown and Gary Levy. While the third season of Big Brother Canada will move to Shaw’s main Global TV network, Side Show will continue to air on Slice.

Debuting this past spring for BBCAN’s second season, Big Brother Side Show aired Thursdays at 10 p.m. following the weekly eviction episode. Big Brother Canada is set to premiere in spring 2015.

— FX Canada and FXX are now finally available to Bell customers thanks to hockey! Bell resisted striking a deal the Rogers owned stations until now. In addition to the NHL, Bell customers will now be able to enjoy shows like The League and American Horror Story.

— Marvel went ahead and created a dancing Groot toy, just in time for Christmas.

— Murrary Christmas! Sofia Coppola is directing a Bill Murray Christmas special!
