Global has announced that the second season of Remedy will premiere on Monday, March 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, following the third season premiere of Big Brother Canada.
The second season will find Griffin (Dillon Casey) trying to get his life back on track by planning a return to medical school and a serious relationship with Zoe (Genelle Williams), but is troubled by his dark past. Meanwhile, Allen (Enrico Colantoni) adjusts to being demoted from the Chief-of-Staff position while Sandy (Sarah Allen) and Mel (Sara Canning) balance co-parenting and work.
The series recently received four Canadian Screen Awards nominations, including Best Dramatic Series.
Global will also launch a web series beginning Wednesday, March 18 on GlobalTV.com and the Global Go App. Remedy: To Catch a Thief takes viewers to the basement of Beth-H when Frank Kanaskie (Patrick McKenna), the Supervisor of Transport and Housekeeping, places a hidden camera in a closet. The web series will run for five episodes and will also feature Dillon Casey (Griffin), Diego Fuentes (Bruno) and Anusree Roy (Nurse Patel).
