CTV News Channel is set to debut a new pop culture-focused talk show that will premiere this September.
Pop Life will feature in-depth interviews by film critic and pop culture historian Richard Crouse each week beginning Saturday, September 16, at 8:30 p.m. ET.
“For many years I made a living as a bartender, and what I loved most about the job was the great conversations I had while slinging drinks for thirsty customers,” says Crouse. “What better setting for a thought-provoking pop culture debate than a bar? Each week on Pop Life, I’ll share a drink and a chat with some of the entertainment world’s most interesting people.”
Upcoming interviews for the half-hour talk show will include Canadian jazz musician Diana Krall, legendary rock star (and star of Spice World) Meatloaf, stand-up comedian and CNN host W. Kamau Bell, actor/author Chris Colfer (Glee), and celebrity chef Jeremiah Tower.
