The Young and the Restless Celebrates a “Lifetime of Love” with Victor and Nikki

The Young and the Restless’ upcoming theme week will be Victor and Nikki: A Lifetime of Love as the CBS and Global soap celebrates the iconic couple played by Eric Braeden and Melody Thomas Scott, with episodes dating all the way back to 1981.

Production of The Young and the Restless was shut down in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the soap began airing classic episodes on Fridays in order to keep new episodes airing as long as they could. Y&R aired its last new episode on April 22 in Canada. The first theme week began this past week, which honoured Jeanne Cooper’s iconic Katherine Chancellor.

Y&R’s Victor and Nikki: A Lifetime of Love will kick off this Friday (May 1) in Canada on Global and on Monday (May 4) in the U.S. on CBS.

On Friday (May 1): Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) visits the Newman Ranch for the first time as Victor (Eric Braeden) tests their chemistry with the help from Colonel Douglas Austin (Michael Evans). Original airdate: October 31, 1981.

On Monday (May 4): Nikki dreams of reuniting with Victor after Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is out of the picture, and Philip (Thom Bierdz) makes plans for a future with Cricket (Lauralee Bell). Original airdate: August 17, 1987.

On Tuesday (May 5): Nikki takes centre stage at the Colonnade Room. Drucilla (Victoria Rowell) finds herself in trouble. Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) distracts Scott (Peter Barton) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). Original airdate: June 2, 1990.

On Wednesday (May 6): Victor and Nikki cannot deny their attraction. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) marriage is on the rocks. Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) intereferes in Jill’s (Jess Walton) relationship with Keith Dennison (Granville Van Dusen). Original airdate: April 14, 1998.

On Thursday (May 7): Victor and Nikki are remarried at the iconic Colonnade Room, while Ashley struggles with a secret. Original airdate: September 5, 2002.

The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS and Global.
