Amazon Prime Video will release three new original series this month in Canada – including horror anthology Them, comedy Franke of Ireland, and dark comedy Made for Love.

The final season of fan-favourite Younger also debuts this month along with two new films Stowaway and Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse.

Premiering this Friday, April 9 is the all-new Amazon original horror anthology Them from Little Marvin and Lena Waithe, which explores terror in America. The first season, “Covenant,” is set in the 1950s and centres around a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighbourhood during the period known as ‘The Great Migration.’ The family’s new home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them. The cast of Them season one includes Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Alison Pill, and Meldoy Hurd.

Launching in Canada on Friday, April 16 is the HBO Max dark comedy Made for Love. Cristin Milioti (Palm Springs) stars as a thirty-something woman on the run after a 10-year suffocating marriage. The series also stars Billy Magnussen and Ray Romano. Read more about here.

Also premiering on Friday, April 16, is comedy Frank of Ireland. Set in an idyllic suburb of Dublin, Brian Gleeson (Peaky Blinders) stars as Frank Marron, a who struggles to get his lie together after finding himself newly single and living with his mother while his ex-girlfriend has moved on. Rosie’s Pom Boyd also stars as Frank’s mother, Mary; Domhnall Gleeson (Run) is Frank’s friend, Doofus; Dublin Murders’ Sarah Greene, portrays the ex, Áine.

Darren Star’s Younger will premiere its final season on Amazon Prime Video in Canada beginning April 19 with new episodes weekly.

Canadian sci-fi thriller Stowaway premieres on Friday, April 22. On a mission to Mars, an unintended stowaway (Shamier Anderson) accidentally causes severe damage to the spaceship’s life-support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially grim outcome, a medical researcher (Anna Kendrick) emerges as the only dissenting voice against the clinical logic of both her commander (Toni Collette) and the ship’s biologist (Daniel Dae Kim).

Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse premieres on Friday, April 30. Michael B. Jordan stars as an elite Navy SEAL who uncovers an international conspiracy while seeking justice for the murder of his pregnant wife. Jodie Turner-Smith and Jamie Bell also star in the origin story of John Clark – one of the most popular characters in author Jack Clancy’s Jack Ryan universe.
