Nasim Pedrad’s new series Chad will premiere on CTV Comedy Channel in Canada this Tuesday, April 6 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
In Chad, the 39-year-old Saturday Night Live and New Girl alum will portray a 14-year-old pubescent Persian boy, Ferydoon “Chad” Amani, navigate his first year of high school on a mission to become popular.
“Chad’s friendships and sanity are pushed to the limits as he uses every tactic at his disposal to befriend the cool kids, while enduring his mother’s new dating life and reconciling with his cultural identity.”
Pedrad also serves as the series creator, writer, executive producer and showrunner. The series also stars Paul Chahidi and Canadian actress Saba Homayoon.
Chad will air on TBS in the U.S. Canadians will also be able to stream Chad on CTV.ca and the CTV app.
