The Boys is back for its third season this Friday, June 3 on Prime Video. After a “calm” year, Homeland’s (Antony Starr) subdued. Butcher (Karl Urban) works for the government and is supervised by Hughie (Jack Quaid) of all people. But both men itch to turn this newfound peace and quiet into blood and bone, so when The Bous learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles).
Irma VEP: Series Premiere (Monday, June 6 at 9 p.m. ET; Crave)
HBO’s Irma VEP premieres on Monday, June 6 at 9 p.m. ET on Crave. Based on Olivier Assayas’ 1996 feature film, the series stars Alicia Vikander as Mira, an American movie star disillusioned by her career and recent breakup, who comes to France to star in a remake of the French silent film class Les Vampires. Set against the backdrop of a lurid crime thriller, Mira struggles as the distinctions between herself and the character she plays begin to blur and merge. The series will continue to air weekly each Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
Backstage with Katherine Ryan (Thursday, June 9; Prime Video)
Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan is back on streaming with an all-new live comedy experience, Backstage with Katherine Ryan where she invites some of the biggest and most exciting new names from the world of British comedy to perform on-stage and hang out backstage at London’s iconic Roundhouse. The lineup includes Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed and 8 Out of 10 Cats’ Jimmy Carr.
