The Covenant, Guy Ritchie’s new action thriller, will be available to stream in Canada this Friday, June 16, on Prime Video.
Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant tells the story of US Army Sergeant John Kinley (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) and Afghan interpreter Ahmed (Dar Salim). After an ambush, Ahmed goes to Herculean lengths to save Kinley’s life. When Kinley learns that Ahmed and his family were not given safe passage to America as promised, he must repay his debt by returning to the war zone to retrieve them before the Taliban hunts them down first.
The film, which was released in the U.S. this past April also stars Antony Starr, Alexander Ludwig, Sean Sagar, Bobby Schofield, Emily Beecham, and Johnny Lee Miller.
