Canadians will be able to watch ITV’s Jeopardy! UK revival beginning Wednesday, January 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT exclusively on BBC First.
Stephen Fry (The Morning Show, The Hobbit) hosts the family-friendly quiz show that sees contestants play to win, using their best general knowledge to end up on top, amassing winnings as they go. In each episode, three contestants compete to be crowned Jeopardy Champion, but it will take quick thinking and even quicker reactions to claim the title. This new version will allow participants to play an extra round compared to the original format, increasing the stakes for the players.

UK,” says host Stephen Fry. “I hope Canadians watching this endlessly rewarding game show will welcome me into their homes as they did the great and iconic Jeopardy! host, Alex Trebek. Audiences should be prepared for a nostalgic and uniquely beguiling good time to grace screens on BBC First in Canada this January.”
Fry previously hosted the popular British quiz program QI from 2003 to 2016 and is also available to watch on BBC First.
The new hourlong game show will consist of 20 episodes and premiered in the UK on January 1.
