The final season of The Mindy Project will finally premiere in Canada. City will broadcast episodes of the comedy series’ sixth and final seasons beginning Thursday, January 4, with back-to-back episodes, starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The 10-episode final season will conclude its five-week run in Canada on Feb. 1. The series concluded its run in the U.S. on Hulu on Nov. 14, 2017.
The final season will see Mindy (Mindy Kaling) realize that her impulsive elopement didn’t lead to the fairytale marriage of her dreams with Ben (Bryan Greenberg). Jeremy (Ed Weeks) and Anna (Rebecca Rittenhouse) navigate the uncertainties of their own new relationship, while Tamra (Xosha Roquemore) signs on the be Lahiri Fertility’s newest (and top-secret) patient. Ike Barinholtz (Morgan), Fortune Feimster (Colette), Beth Grant (Beverly) and Garret Dillahunt (Jody) are also back for the final season, as are a slew of Mindy’s exes, including Mark Duplass’ Brendan, Anders Holm’s Casey, Glenn Howerton’s Cliff and Chris Messina’s Danny.
Guest stars this season include Adam Pally (Peter), Rhea Perlman (Annette), Max Minghella (Richie), Anna Ortiz (Dr. Mary Hernandez, a love interest for Jody) and Reese Witherspoon!
The Mindy Project will also be available on CityTV.com, as well as the City apps (including on Apple TV). Previous seasons of The Mindy Project stream on Netflix in Canada, with the final season expected to premiere once it finishes airing on City.
