Johnny Galecki joins Entourage, Dr. Drew heads to The CW and Chuck preview

The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki will appear in the upcoming season of Entourage as a “tougher” version of himself when Eric (Kevin Connolly) and Scott (Scott Caan) take him on as a client. E! Online also reports that the TV version of Johnny will make a pass at Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui).

Ryan Devlin filmed an appearance as Laurie’s ex, Smith, on Cougar Town before the holidays and his episode is slated to air when the show returns from hiatus in April. Not to worry, there should be some fresh episodes until February 9th, before Matthew Perry’s Mr. Sunshine takes the timeslot. Not sure how long his Brothers & Sisters gig as Seth will last since Kitty just broke up with him on Sunday.

— Snoop Dogg will make a guest appearance on 90210 as himself in an upcoming episode where Dixon (Tristan Wilds) encounters the rapper at a car wash. Snoop’s daughter, Cori Broadus will also appear in the episodes in scenes with Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord). Nelly is also slated to appear on the show this February.

— MTV Networks has announced the launch of a new awards show. The Comedy Awards will focus on all the funny efforts in film, television and digital content and will air on Comedy Central in the U.S. The first ceremony will be taped on March 26th and will air on April 10th. No word yet on the Canadian broadcaster, but CTV’s The Comedy Network seems like a safe bet.

— The CW is getting back in the daytime game. Dr. Drew Pinsky will headline a new daily half-hour talk show called Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers this fall, which will air at 3 p.m., the timeslot previously occupied by The Tyra Banks Show (which still airs in reruns).

— In other daytime news, Wendy Williams will appear on One Life to Live this March as Phyllis Rose, the host of the Access Llanview. The fictional series will air a special edition called “The Buchanans, A Family Under Siege.” Williams’ episodes will air on March 2nd and 28th. The episode airing on March 28th will also include Kourtney Kardashian’s character, Kassandra.
