— NBC has set the final episode of Jay Leno‘s The Tonight Show (for real this time, hopefully) for February 6 while Jimmy Fallon takes over beginning February 24 — the same night Seth Meyers takes over Late Night.

Mischa Barton told Us Weekly at a reunion for The O.C. “doesn’t feel right.” You know what? They killed your character off, so it doesn’t have to be right for you. Sadness: she also says she hasn’t kept in touch with her former cast mates.

Jane By Design‘s Matthew Atkinson will play a drummer in a multi-season arc of Parenthood named Zach. He’ll be in the band fronted by Tyson Ritter (of All American Rejects fame) who bonds with Amber (Mae Whitman).

Greg Berlanti is developing what is described as a futuristic Prison Break for NBC.

Freddie Prinze Jr. will guest star on Witches of East End.

Happy Endings alum Casey Wilson has inked a comedy series deal with ABC along with Burning Love‘s June Diane Raphael.

Juliette Lewis will co-star alongside Matt Dillon in M. Night Shyamalan‘s “event” Fox series Wayward Pine (based on the novel).

— Look for The Office‘s Angela Kinsey to appear on the second episode of New Girl‘s upcoming season. She’ll play a rival teacher for Jess (Zooey Deschanel) named Rose.

Vin Diesel may join Guardians of the Galaxy as Groot…which might not be so bad for two reasons: he’s only got one line (“I am Groot”) and he sorta looks like him anyway.

— After toying with our childhood memories in Toy Story 3, Woody and the gang will be back for a Halloween special on ABC called Toy Story of Terror, airing Oct. 16.

Breaking Bad‘s return on Sunday night doubled last year’s premiere.

Vulture has animated Badger’s Star Trek story about the pie eating contest. Check it out:
