As some of you may already know, today is my last day at Postmedia. Working for the Canada.com network, which includes Dose.ca, for the past four years have been a truly remarkable experience.

Working on this blog has been amazing. When I started The TV Watercooler years ago, it was outside of work. It was a way to keep my friends up to date on the latest TV news, spoilers and gossip during university — originally via newsletters and later as a blog, where I found a new audience. In December 2008, I was able to prove to my boss that I could successfully run my own blog and I was asked to move it over to Canada.com. A month later, it finally crossed over to Dose.ca – which was a dream come true.

This blog went from being a hobby to an actual part of my job, which was quite a unique opportunity — one that I am really grateful for.

From my sarcastic recaps of The HillsThe Real Housewives of Vancouver cast blogs, both the TV Casualtyand As Scene on TV podcasts and all the exclusive soap star interviews in between, thank you all so much for reading.

I’m hoping to continue the blog in some way. You’ll be able to find it on TheTVWatercooler.com again. I don’t start my new job for another week and a half, so I’ll have some time to set things up properly over at the old domain. (If I’m not too busy sleeping, of course)

Thanks again and please keep tuning in!
