J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek regret, Worf wants his own show and more

— Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s (and DS9Michael Dorn is pitching a new series which sees Lt. Commander Worf become captain.

— Speaking of Star TrekJ.J. Abrams regrets the big Khan secret.

— The BBC has set Sherlock‘s premiere for Jan. 1st, while it will debut on PBS on Jan. 19th.

Alias favourite Victor Garber has been cast on Sleepy Hollow where he’ll play Ichabod Crane’s father.

— Another famous fictional dad, Dan Hedaya (Cher’s dad in the Clueless film) is set to play Danny’s dad on The Mindy Project.

Martin Short will return as host of the Canadian Screen Awards on March 9th.

Alex Kingston will return to Arrow later this season as Dinah Lance, Laurel and Sara’s mother.

The Walking Dead‘s midseason finale did pretty decent with 12.1 million viewers in the U.S. on AMC. But it wasn’t as massive as the season premiere. Meanwhile, you guys don’t really think Judith is dead, do you? That baby seat, although bloody, was unbuckled. Hopefully we’ll find out when the show returns on Feb. 9th.
