The Bold and the Beautiful’s Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Don Diamont (Bill) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge) arrived in Dubai, UAE this past weekend along with executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell to begin filming an exciting new location shoot.
As previously reported, the idea to film in the United Arab Emirates came about after Lang asked producers for a few days off in an effort to take part in the Abu Dhabi Triathlon, which then lead Bell to explore the option of heading there to film. During a press conference, it was revealed that the CBS and CTV Two soap would film at three main locations this week: Atlantis, The Palm and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, as well as Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Bell also shared that “There will be a wedding and a massive action scene involving helicopters which will be one of the biggest stunts in the history of the series.”
Sounds exciting…so B&B fans, who do you think Brooke will marry this time? Ridge or Bill?
— Yup, a lot of people called it! Donna Mills is playing Madeline Reeves, Silas’ (Michael Easton) mother-in-law.
— Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) confirmed that she’s leaving The Young and the Restless.
— Wally Kurth, who’s been recurring on Days of our Lives as Justin, will return to General Hospital for another appearance as Ned.
— Sean Kanan (AJ) and General Hospital have mutually decided to part ways. The actor had been unhappy with his storylines on GH, telling TV Guide “Doing stories about panic attacks and relish was not what I thought I’d signed up for. I feel I brought everything I could to the character yet it was obvious they weren’t going to give me a great love story, which I found very disappointing.” Check out Kanan’s exclusive interview with TV Guide here. The good news? Look for Kanan to return to The Bold and the Beautiful as Deacon this June! Kanan tapes at GH through March 28 and will remain on air a few weeks following that.
— Look for Eileen Davidson and Beth Maitland to return to The Young and the Restless as Abbott sisters Ashley and Traci next month for a couple of episodes. Davidson recently returned to the Days of our Lives set, so look for Kristen to return this summer.
— As mentioned last week, Days of our Lives stars Deidre Hall (Marlena), Drake Hogestyn (John), Lauren Koslow (Kate), Galen Gering (Rafe), Kate Mansi (Abigail), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) and executive producer Greg Meng are making stops in Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver this week to promote the book Days of our Lives Better Living.
