Dallas Cormier from Saint John, NB, was the latest houseguest to be evicted from Big Brother Canada. We caught up with Dallas following his eviction to discuss Tim’s nomination strategy, Maddy’s gameplay and how the house should get rid of Jared and and Raul.

Looking back, do you regret not participating in Tim’s eviction strategy? If you had to re-do that, how would you have used those five gummy votes?

I don’t regret anything about the nominations or the way I participated in it. I wanted to stand up to Tim and let him know that I was not intimidated by his tactics. I wanted to get the whole house behind me and do the same thing see Tim get his hands dirty.

I wouldn’t have put any gummy bears on Ramsey, Maddy or Joel. It’s tough. It’s a popularity contest. I think I would have put them on somebody who wasn’t going to get much like Nikki or somebody like that.

What did you think about Tim’s strategy with the nominations? Do you think it has hurt his game?

I don’t think it really did hurt his game. I don’t think that the houseguests caught on to how he basically let them all fight it out and nominate the two people who were kind of the runts maybe. I think that Tim did a master plan on that one. I have to give him kudos. I do think he copped out a little bit. I don’t think it hurt his game at all. I think people are buying what Tim is selling, to be brutally honest with you. His strategy is definitely something different. Everyone knows him as this wild card and expect something like this. People are feeding into it but I wasn’t trying to partake.

If you were still in the game, who would you want to see return to the house: Loveita or Kelsey? Since you’re no longer in the house, is that still the person you’d like to see go back?

If I were still in the game, I would have liked to see Loveita come back. She was a strong ally of mine and I have a tone of respect for her. She was a fierce competitor and people know that she is a force to be reckoned with. That doesn’t take anything away from Kelsey. I still love her to death. But Kelsey is on the opposite team and Loveita was playing with Team Dally and Kelsey was playing with Team Jared.

Regardless of who goes back in, do you think those girls will ever get along with each other?

It’s been said that it’s a Mean Girls season and I think that the girls are gunning for each other. Maddy made it evident when she revealed who her target was and it was Cassandra. The girls have been taking each other out and the guys have just been kicking back and getting ready for a frat house.

I don’t think they’ll get along inside the house. Outside the show, they’ll put their differences aside and wonder why they gunned for each other and caused this epic cat fight.

Who’s game play has surprised you the most?

Absolutely hands down, Maddy’s. I thought she was somebody who could be playing the game with a little bit of logic… A little bit of loyalty would have gone a long way. She basically surprised Canada when she backdoored Loveita — someone who kept her safe and wanted work with her despite being skeptical of her. Maddy hands down surprised me the most and showed me her true colours.

How would you have gone about getting rid of Jared and Raul? What does the house need to do to start getting them out?

Expose them! That’s just it. You have to expose them. Jared’s the puppet master at the moment while Raul is his little sidekick. They need to put the heat on them. Somebody’s got to win a competition. Maybe Joel. Put those two up and make a big game move.

Was it harder campaigning against Maddy or Ramsey?

With Ramsey, I’ve got a ton of respect for that guy. I don’t think I would have had a chance. I still would have tried though. It was definitely easier to campaign against Maddybecause she had just shown her true colours. She was playing a selfish game. I looked forward to campaign against Maddy. Whereas with Ramsey, I just didn’t want to do it.
