Netflix announced on Wednesday (July 27) that Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will premiere globally on November 25th at 12:01am PT.
The revival will include four 90-minute chapters which each span one of four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
Netflix released a new teaser — which contrary to initial reports upon its release, isn’t an actual scene from the revival — featuring Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) wondering if Lorelai would be BFFs with Amy Schumer. Check it out below.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who executive produces, writes and directs all four of the installments with Daniel Palladino. Gilmore Girls originally aired on The WB/The CW in the U.S. and Global in Canada from 2000 until 2007. Reruns are currently broadcast on the Family Channel in Canada and streaming on Netflix worldwide.
