— It was confirmed last week that Tamara Braun is returning to General Hospital! Laura Wright will remain in the role of Carly while Braun will portray a new character. The news was first reported by Daytime Confidential last month, and later confirmed by Entertainment Weekly with the actress’ first airdate as Nov. 22.
This isn’t the first time that GH has done this… Sarah Brown (the OG Carly, 1996-2001) returned to the soap in 2008 to play Claudia Zacchara for over a year. On April 1, 2014, Brown, Braun and Wright all appeared as Carly during the 51st anniversary special.
Braun’s other soap credits include All My Children, where she appeared as Reese Williams from 2008 to 2009 as well as Days of our Lives — first as Ava Vitali (from 2008, 2015-2016) and then Taylor Walker (in 2011).

On Wednesday (Nov. 1), Liam regretfully informs Sally that Spectra Fashions will not be relaunched. Steffy learns from Bill that her previous favour to him was all in vain. Bill is determined to demolish the Spectra building on Thursday (Nov. 2). Liam makes one desperate, last ditch effort to help Sally and her company.
