Jann Arden’s latest television special is set to air this Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m. ET/MT on CTV.
The Canadian icon’s latest album These Are Days is now available and features her new single “Not Your Little Girl.” Hosted by The Social’s Marci Ien, Songs & Stories: Jann Arden will feature Arden speaking openly about her struggle with her late father’s fight with dementia, her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s, and her own challenges with anxiety and alcoholism.
“I had two choices: either row this boat further out to sea and just abandon myself and feel sorry for myself, or make my way back to shore and look after my physical body. That’s what came first,” said Arden about her recent personal struggles in the one-hour special.
Arden will also perform selections of her favourite songs from her new album, as well as a “unique version” of her hit “Insensitive.” Viewers will be able to catch the special on CTV.ca and CTV GO following the premiere on CTV. An encore presentation will air on Tuesday, March 27, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. An extended version of the special will premiere on CraveTV on Friday, March 30, and will include extra songs and extended interview footage — viewers will also be able to see digital exclusives on CTV.ca.
Last week, Jann Arden also stopped by CTV National News with Lisa LaFlamme and spoke about the emotional journey of writing her new album, and book Feed My Mother. You can watch that interview below.
