December was a busy month for all. So, here’s my rundown of the five shows you can binge-watch on New Year’s Day or this upcoming weekend…before 2020 hits you hard.
Chances are, you’ve taken in the second season of Netflix’s You which dropped on Boxing Day. If you haven’t, what are you waiting for?
We’ve been looking forward to sinking our teeth into this one for a while now… Dracula finally premieres on BBC in the UK on January 1 and will air for three nights before becoming available to us on Netflix on January 4. We’re looking forward to sinking our teeth into this one. It’s from the team behind Sherlock and Doctor Who and stars Claes Bang (The Affair).
Hulu’s PEN15 has been available on CBC Gem with very little fanfare. It’s time for you to change that and watch it immediately. Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle re-live middle school – cringe, and all. Here’s the link.
You’ve been enjoying the baby Yoda memes all month but here’s your chance to finally check out The Mandalorian.
Another BBC import is Gold Digger starring Julia Ormond. It premiered on the CTV Drama Channel this past November. Ormand plays a wealthy 60-year old woman who falls in love with a man 26-years younger than her and has to deal with how her relationship impacts her adult children and ex-husband. All six episodes are available to stream at CTV.ca (but you’ll have to sign in with your service provider info).
