Sam Bledsoe is the latest member of Big Brother’s season 20 jury. The 27-year-old welder from Virginia was evicted in the episode that aired on Wednesday (September 19) night. Following her eviction, we had the opportunity to speak with Sam about her biggest regret, who’ll need to improve their gameplay as they head into the final week and who she’d like to see go far.
Did you believe you were the target, or did you think you were initially the pawn? Why do you think they voted the way they did?
I think I was definitely the target because I think they wanted me to make it to the top five and that was their plan all along. It came as no surprise.
Why don’t you think Kaycee used the veto on you? Did you try to make a deal with her?
I never pressured Kaycee into a deal situation. I think she is trying to maintain her relationship with Angela.
Do you think your eviction was the best game move or could they have gotten rid of a bigger target?
Oh, I think they are all a threat. They like it that way. They are extremely competitive, but they are all also good sportsmen and have played sports their whole lives. So, they want the satisfaction of beating the stronger competitor.
Whose eviction was the hardest on you?
I was really sad to see Bayleigh leave. She and I had just recently become buddies and she had a certain je ne sais quoi that nobody else in the house had.
Was there ever a move that you had to make for the sake of your alliance that you regret?
Voting Rockstar out. That was a bitch move. I wanted to keep her, but I knew I would be her only vote [to stay].
Out of those who remain in the house, who do you think has played the weakest game?
I think JC has talked a lot of talk and now he is going to have to walk the walk.
Is there someone you’d like to see go far? Is there someone you hope doesn’t go far?
I hope they all feel satisfied, but I genuinely hope that Kaycee can keep her winning streak going and keep her confidence up. I would also say that I’d like to see Angela go far because it best suits her lifestyle.
