Eric Braeden Q&A: Eric Braeden answered fan questions during a Facebook Live this week, and even replied to a fan’s question about what happened to Victor Newman’s office set: “Well, let me be honest with you. There was an attempt by the former executive producer and head writer to diminish the role of Victor Newman. I’ll say it very clearly and very succinctly, he attempted to diminish it, to bring the character down… [I’ll] never forgive him for that, but he’s gone. Bye bye!” Although not mentioned by name, Braeden is referring to Mal Young who was replaced by Anthony Morina and Josh Griffith, whose material should begin airing in three to four weeks.
