Classic episodes of the Australian soap opera Neighbours are now streaming on Prime Video in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa, and Amazon Freevee in the U.S. and U.K.
In November 2022 it was announced that Amazon Freevee and Fremantle would be bringing back the popular series Neighbours in 2023 following its cancellation that summer.
The continuation of the long-running daily drama series, about the lives, loves, and challenges of the residents on Ramsay Street in Erinsborough, Australia – a fictional suburb of Melbourne. It was announced that Stefan Dennis, Alan Fletcher, Ryan Moloney, and Jackie Woodburne would be reprising their beloved roles.
Prime Video has made available 25 classic episodes of the series, including the very first episode from 1985, as of February 23. Some of these “most legendary” episodes feature the soap’s famous alumni including Margot Robbie, Russell Crowe, Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Guy Pearce, Natalie Imbruglia, and Liam Hemsworth.
Also available to stream are all Neighbours episodes from 2012, which features the show’s most memorable first kiss between Chris and Aidan, as well as Toadie’s heartwarming proposal to Sonya, and Lucas and Vanessa’s dramatic wedding day.
Library content will continue to launch each month until the show’s highly anticipated return later this year.
The continuation of Neighbours will stream on Prime Video in Canada (and other territories), on Amazon Freevee in the U.K. and the U.S. and will also air on Australia’s Network 10, which will retain first-run rights in the country.
