Hit reality franchise The Traitors is now streaming exclusively on Crave in Canada.
The first seasons of the U.K., U.S., and Australian versions of The Traitors dropped on the Canadian streaming platform on Friday, April 7.
The reality competition series is a game of treachery and deceit where more than 20 contestants come together to complete a series of exhilarating challenges and build up a prize fund. Meanwhile, hidden amongst them are a small group of “Traitors,” whose job it is to secretly take out each of the other players, “The Faithfuls,” every night – without getting caught! It’s up to the Faithfuls to try to detect who the Traitors are and banish them from the game before they become the next victim.
The three English-language versions of an original Dutch series (De Verraders) were filmed in 2022 at Ardross Castle in Scotland.
Australia’s Network 10 premiered The Traitors with host Rodger Corser on October 16, 2022, while the U.K. version premiered on the BBC with host Claudia Winkleman on November 19, 2022. The American version is hosted by Alan Cumming and premiered on January 12, 2023, on Peacock.
Both U.K. and Australian versions feature relative unknowns to audiences while the American version features a mix of “regular people” and reality TV stars including Reza Farahan (Shah’s of Sunset), Brandi Glanville (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Cody Calafiore (Big Brother 16), Rachel Reilly (Big Brother 12), and Olympian Ryan Lochte.
The first seasons of The Traitors U.K., The Traitors U.S., and The Traitors Australia are now all streaming on Crave in Canada.
