Paramount+’s new series Special Ops: Lioness is now streaming.
Inspired by an actual U.S. Military program, Special Ops: Lioness follows the life of Joe (Zoe Saldaña, Star Trek) while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA’s spear in the war on terror.
The Lioness program is overseen by Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman, Big Little Lies) and Donald Westfield (Michael Kelly, House of Cards), who enlist an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz, played by Canadian actress Laysla De Oliveira, to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism in the CIA’s efforts to thwart the next 9/11.
Special Ops: Lioness comes from Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan and also stars Morgan Freeman while Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Warton, Stephanie Nur, and Hannah Love Lanier round out the rest of the cast.
