The 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards to Stream on BritBox in Canada on February 18

The 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards will stream this Sunday, February 18, on BritBox in Canada beginning at 2 p.m. ET (19:00 GMT).

Hosted by David Tennant, the ceremony will celebrate the year’s finest moments and performances in cinema from Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London.

Oppenheimer leads the nominations with 13, followed by Poor Things (11), Killers of the Flower Moon and The Zone of Interest (nine each), Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers and Maestro (with seven each), All of Us Strangers (six), and Barbie and Saltburn (with five each).

Sophie Ellis-Bextor will perform her iconic 2001 hit “Murder on the Dancefloor,” which was featured in Saltburn. Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) will also be doing an exclusive musical performance at the ceremony.

Nominees for this year’s EE Rising Star include Phoebe Dynevor, Ayo Edebiri, Jacob Elordi, Mia McKenna-Bruce, and Sophie Wilde.

Best Film nominees include Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, Oppenheimer, and Poor Things. Outstanding British Film nominees include All of Us Strangers, How to Have Sex, Napoleon, The Old Oak, Poor Things, Rye Lane, Saltburn, Scrapper, Wonka, and The Zone of Interest.

Nominees for Director include Andrew Haigh (All of Us Strangers), Justine Triet (Anatomy of a Fall), Alexander Payne (The Holdovers), Bradley Cooper (Maestro), Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer), and Jonathan Glazer (The Zone of Interest).

Leading Actress nominees include Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple), Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall), Carey Mulligan (Maestro), Vivian Oparah (Rye Lane), Margot Robbie (Barbie), and Emma Stone (Poor Things).

Lead Actor nominees include Bradley Cooper (Maestro), Colman Domingo (Rustin), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Barry Keoghan (Saltburn), Cillian Murphy (Oppenheimer), and Teo Yoo (Past Lives).

In the U.K., the 2024 EE BAFA Film Awards will air on BBC One and stream on BBC iPlayer at 17:00 GMT on Sunday, Feb. 18. In addition to streaming the ceremony live in Canada, BritBox will also stream the awards in the U.S., and other territories where available.
