Soap News: General Hospital’s Rebecca has “visions” of Emily? Plus is psycho Mari Jo returning to Y&R?

Some scoop on GH’s “Four Musketeers”, Victor’s mystery woman on Y&R and casting news and previews for all the soaps.

— Are the four musketeers reuniting on General Hospital? Looks that way! Lucky (Greg Vaughan) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) will be thrown right into the Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and the Emily-look-alike, Rebecca (Natalia Livingston), storyline. Rebecca will cave-in and agree to follow Nik to Wyndemere where he tells her of his love story with her look-alike and her tragic death. She’ll painfully remind him that she is NOT Emily…she’ll also be saying the same thing to a meddling Edward (John Ingle). The only person that Rebecca will be opening up to is Lucky and he’ll give her a job at the newly re-opened Kelly’s. With Liz & Lucky out of the Jason/Sam mob orbit and heading back together (they’ll do it in a couple of weeks) and Nik chasing after Emily…I mean Rebecca, looks like we have our classic four musketeers together again. All we need now is a brownie party and it will boost some much needed taste of nostalgia to this otherwise grim show. This is why Rebecca needs to be a resurrected Emily. The show has unnecessarily killed off far too many characters in recent years (including Georgie and Logan) that they need to start righting some major wrongs and please the fans. I hear some potential good news on this front…Rebecca will be having visions of Emily…BUT does this mean that she sees Emily in them or is she seeing this visions from Emily’s perspective? Please pull a “Princess Gina is Hope” from Days and bring Emily back…I mean the actress is back…just do it!

— Still trying to figure out who Victor (Eric Braeden) was talking to a couple of weeks ago? You know…the mystery woman he flew down in his private jet and tried to convince her to help him take down Jack (Peter Bergman)? The lady finally agreed and then asked to have some special help since she doesn’t “look so well.” Former Prison Break and All My Children (ex-Hannah) star Stacy Haiduk is joining the series as a new love interest for Jack. She’ll be playing a woman named Mary Jane and will be working in PR at Jabot. Mary Jane?! Remember that psycho Mari Jo from the 90s? The one that seduced Jack’s son Keemo, locked up Cricket and frame Jill for shooting Victor? Could she be back? If so then why would Victor reach out to a woman who tried to kill him? Still can’t remember who Mari Jo was? Click here for a character refresh or watch this hilarious clip.

— Are you missing Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee) already on AMC? She might pop up unexpected one last time. The presumed dead Greens will appear with a mystery person. I know it’s a stretch but wouldn’t it be awesome if they lured back Josh Duhamel for a cameo as Leo?

John Driscoll tells the next Soap Opera Digest that his character Coop was killed off as result of CBS wanting more drama. Apparently executive producer Ellen Wheeler (ex-Marley/Vicky, Another World) presented a bunch of different scenarios to the network and the Coop kill-off was the one they liked best. The show is looking to bring back the role of Michelle Bauer in the near future. Rebecca Budig played the role in the mid 90s however One Tree Hill‘s Bethany Joie Lenz Galeotti was perhaps the best-known Michelle, playing her from 1998-2000 when the character was paired with Danny (Paul Anthony Stewart). Nancy St. Alban took over until 2005. No word yet if they’re looking to bring back Danny.

— Newcomer Sarah Glendeing returns as Lucy #4 on As The World Turns this week which really pisses off Meg (Marie Wilson). Meanwhile, Craig (Jon Lindstrom) is not pleased with Parker’s decision and Jade (Davida Williams…yet another recast) tries to help Casey (Billy Magnussen). Maybe Jade should try to help the producers get this show back on track? Looks like Carly (Maura West) may develop a drinking problem. Yeah and judging by the new “fast pace” of this show, the story will be over by the time we get around to posting some new spoilers for this show.

— Get ready for a serial killer (or maybe just a stabber) on One Life To Live when Blair (Kassie DePaiva) gets stabbed. John (Micheal Easton) and Blair are in the midst of a reunion when John finds out about a not-so-nice article from The Intruder about Marty (Susan Haskell) and isn’t so pleased with Blair. John will go after Marty when she calls him leaving Blair in danger. Blair will take out her frustrations out on Todd (Trevor St. John) after the attack and will not let him see their kids.

— Over on The Bold and the Beautiful, Thorne (Winsor Harmon) hopes that he’s appointed president of Forrester Creations while Rick (Kyle Lowder) threatens Owen (Brandon Beemer). Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) makes an announcement and Ridge (Ron Moss) turns to Taylor (Hunter Tylo).

— On Days of our LivesAlison Sweeney brings Sami Brady back to Salem this week while an aged Will Roberts returns an episode later played by newcomer Dylan Micheal Patton. Will won’t like the idea of Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) being with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and will push for a Sami/Lucas reunion. Bo (Peter Reckell) has a vision of Hope (Kristian Alfonso) with another man…watch it be Daniel (Shawn Christian). Global has added daily episodes of the soap here.
