The TV Watercooler

Breaker High reruns come to MuchMusic, KStew should close her legs to married men and more

Today's latest TV watercooler buzz including the return of Breaker High, NBC's new Dracula and more!

— One of the greatest shows of our time, Breaker High is coming to MuchMusic this fall. The show that launched the career of Ryan Gosling will air weekdays at 2:30 p.m., following Clueless.

How I Met Your Mother‘s executive producer, Rob Greenberg, is developing a new project for CBS about a twentysomething (Chris Smith of Paranormal Activity 3) who moves into a housing complex full where he befriends a group of divorced men after he gets left at the altar.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been tapped to star in NBC’s Dracula. The 10-episode series will see Dracula relocate to Victorian London where he falls in love with a woman who could be his reincarnated wife. Starz is also developing a Dracula/Vlad series.

— MTV has renewed Awkward. (it airs on MuchMusic here) for a 20-episode third season.

— The CW has revealed a new promo and slogan, “TV Now.” I really miss those old WB promos.

— Looks like SNL’s Bill Hader enjoys The Californiansskits just as much as I do.

— As anyone who follows daytime soap news knows, the juiciest drama is always behind the scenes…the latest from the set of The Young and the Restless: Co-head writer Scott Hamner is out (he let his contract expire but Sony/Marie Bell are calling it a “sabbatical.”) And the scariest bit, looks like Sony wants the infamous Jill Farren Phelps to come on board as executive producer (along with Josh Griffith).

— In light of the Kristen Stewart affair news, I direct your attention to Nene Leakes:
