Raven Walton, the 23-year-old Dance Teacher, from DeValls, AR, was the second houseguest to be evicted in Thursday’s (September 7) episode. We got the chance to speak to Raven before she was sent to the jury house to see if she was blindsided by her eviction, how she felt about being a fan and playing with Paul and more.

Were you blindsided by your eviction?

I was a bit blindsided by my eviction. Josh, Christmas, Paul and myself had agreed that we’d like to see ourselves in the final four. But towards the end, Christmas couldn’t look at me and say for sure that she wouldn’t vote for me, so then I kind of knew that this might be my time. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t keep their word, but I understand their gameplay.

What do you think was the reason they voted you out instead of Kevin?

I think the reason was they knew that even though I hadn’t won a competition, I came close every time. I think they knew that with my story — even with me having gastroparesis and a pacemaker — and not having any blood on my hands, I would be tough to beat in the end.

As a fan of the show, what was it like playing with Paul this season? Do you think that perhaps it made you too trusting of him and didn’t see him as a threat to your game?

Playing with Paul was honestly a dream come true for me. I loved watching him play last year and I enjoyed working with him on the show this year. I don’t think it hurt my game. And I don’t think a lot of people knew we were working together. I think that working with Paul helped my game, as well as working with Matthew. I think we worked well together. Unfortunately, I got evicted in the end. I really hope Paul goes all the way. He deserves it all. He truly is the best player.

What was the hardest part about playing Big Brother?

Oh my gosh, I think the hardest part is that you have no contact with your family. Going into it, you think that it will be find, but when stuff starts to happen and you’re fighting with people in the house, all you want to do is pick up the phone and call your friend and vent to them, but you can’t do that. You just have to find someone in the house to vent to. So, I think the hardest part is just being cut off from your family and friends. It’s not easy.

What was your most memorable moment from your time inside the Big Brother house?

There are so many. I would say one of the best moments for me was the second HOH. It was Candy Crush. it hit me like, “I’m on Big Brother, how cool is this?” I loved the competitions, especially that one. I felt like a kid in a candy store… or like a little squirrel getting tickets for Paul. Plus, Cody was mad every time Paul went up and said, “Three tickets, please.” I thought Cody’s head was going to explode.
