Daytime Confidential reports that Brandon Barash will step into the role of Stefan DiMera on Days of our Lives while Tyler Christopher takes time off for personal reasons. Barash previously appeared alongside Christopher on General Hospital(where he played Johnny Zacchara). The Stefan switch will happen in six months due to DAYS’ advanced taping schedule.
This week on Days of our Lives: Eric (Greg Vaughan) is stunned to learn the truth about Nicole on Monday (September 24). John (Drake Hogestyn) tries to get out of a sticky situation. Brady (Eric Martsolf) gets upsetting news concerning Tate. Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Rafe (Galen Gering) share their concerns about Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and decide to take action.
Eric confronts Brady on Tuesday (September 25) and all hell breaks loose! Paul (Christopher Sean) questions Will (Chandler Massey) about the state of their relationship. Adrienne (Judi Evans) comforts Sonny (Freddie Smith), who is heartbroken about Will. Justin (Wally Kurth) and Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) try to make a deal with Bonnie (also Judi Evans).
Sami (Alison Sweeney) is finally released from jail on Wednesday (September 26) and is determined to get answers about EJ. Stefan (Tyler Christopher) asks Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) if EJ is really alive. Eve (Kassie DePaiva) makes a huge confession to Brady. Eric asks for Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) help to find Nicole.
On Thursday (September 27), Brady blasts Eve for costing him his child. A tearful Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) returns her engagement ring to Eric. Gabi (Camila Banus) advances her revenge plot against Abigail (Marci Miller) and Stefan. Sami searches for Kristen at the DiMera mansion and finds herself in a precarious situation.
Kristen bursts into Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) hospital room, ready to finish the job! Abe (James Reynolds) presides over an unusual wedding. Hope and Rafe make a shocking discovery in the case against Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Feeling betrayed by Ben, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) commits herself to Tripp (Lucas Adams).
