Samantha Picco is the first member of this season’s jury after being evicted on last night’s (April 11) episode of Big Brother Canada. Head of Household Cory had nominated Dane and Estafani for eviction, but Samantha was put up on the block after Dane won the Power of Veto and removed himself. The house voted in favour of keeping Estafania in the game.

We caught up with Samantha before she left for the jury house to chat about if Adam’s loyalty to the Pretty Boys’ alliance is now in jeopardy, who she thinks is the most well-positioned player in the house right now and what she thinks her biggest move was.

Do you think Adam will avenge your eviction? Do you think his loyalty towards you hurt his standing with his other alliances?

No, Adam has worked very hard to get where he is in this game. I don’t think he’s going to let what happened between us affect his game whatsoever. I think he’s going to stay true to his alliance with the guys. I don’t think he’s going to come after them in any way. I think his head is in the game. He knows what he has to do. This is all just part of it.

What do you think was the biggest move you made in the house?

Meeting Adam! [Laughs] Honestly, that’s a tough one because I feel that I could have made bigger moves along the way. Maybe my HOH and putting up two people who, for me, didn’t matter who went. I think at that time, it was the right thing to do. It helped me out, and my alliances as well. Honestly, the thing I’m most proud of is winning that HOH when I won it. Ultimately, I think if I didn’t want that HOH when I did, I would have been walking out of the house a lot sooner. So yeah, I think winning my HOH was my best game move.

Looking back, was there a particular eviction where you voted the same way as the rest of the house but deep down you wish you could have voted differently?

I really trusted Chelsea in that house. I did not want to see her leave, but I knew it was better to see her go than myself. From a personal perspective, I would have liked to have kept her in the house and even from a game move, I think she would have had my back. Ultimately, I had to go with the house on that. That was a tough one, honestly. I think I did vote with my head and my heart for the most part.

Who do you think is the most well-positioned player in the house right now?

Maybe Anthony because no one is really coming after him. He’s not necessarily gunning for one particular person. I think he’s sitting pretty in the game right now.

Who are you hoping joins you in the jury house next week?

I’m hoping to see a big player… Obviously, I’d love to see Adam or Kyra come in and hang out with me, but ultimately, that would mean that they are leaving the game way too soon! I’d love to see Anthony walk in through those doors because he’s sitting pretty. I’d love to see someone like Anthony join me.
