Disney confirmed today (August 19) that their new streaming platform Disney+ will launch in Canada and the Netherlands on Tuesday, November 12, in tandem with its U.S. rollout.
Disney+ will offer entertainment fans of all ages content from the company’s iconic brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more. The subscription-based service will cost $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year in Canada.

Detail of the steaming platform’s content library has yet to be revealed but viewers will be able to watch Disney+ across the following partner platforms and devices: Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV), Google (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast), Microsoft (Xbox One), Sony (all Android-based Sony TVs and PlayStation 4), and Roku (Roku streaming players and Roku TV models).
