Sarah Beth Steagall is the latest houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother house. We got a chance to speak with Sarah Beth before she joined the jury to see how she feels about joining Derek X, her thoughts on Kyland’s secret alliance, and who she would like to see go far in the game.
How do you think it’ll go reuniting with Derek X in jury?
I can’t like lie. I’m a little bit nervous about it. It doesn’t feel good to think that he may be really happy to see me coming in – just for my own pride. It’s like, ugh. But it is what it is… I made my decision and I stick by it. I just have to grin and bear it when it happens. Obviously, it was nothing personal on my end, so I’m not worried in that sense, but in a game sense, it’s kind of like “aww, really?” [Laughs]
Did any of the goodbye messages change your opinion about any of the houseguests?
As far as my experience, my opinion on who they are as people and how I feel and think about what the relationship will be outside of the house, absolutely not.
Kyland revealed to you that he’s in a secret alliance. Have you had a chance to think about who else is in this alliance?
Given the information that Kyland gave me in the house, as well as Azah’s goodbye message, I’m pretty sure that the secret alliance is Azah, Kyland, and Xavier. It could possibly be bigger than that, but I feel really confident about those three working together. I really did not suspect it [when I was] in the house. If that’s true and if I’m right and that they are working together, I think there are a lot of things that both Xavier and Azah skillfully lied to me. About to conceal it. Think there’s a lot of things that Kyland [also] skilfully lied about and unnecessarily about. That does give me a little bit of doubt and confusion. I’m not quite sure what to think about that. I really didn’t suspect it [while I was] in the house.
Who would you like to see go far?
I’m still rooting for Kyland! I’m really relieved that he will have people to work with in the game because I really thought [after I got evicted] that he was going following me soon after. And now he is not going to. I’d like to see him go far, but I think that Xavier might stand a better chance because he has connections outside of the of the secret alliance, so he might go a little farther than Kyland.
