Award-winning filmmaker Dianne Whelan’s documentary 500 Days in the Wild is now streaming on Paramount+ in Canada.
500 Days in the Wild is Paramount+’s first original documentary and follows the six-year journey that Whelan took as she became the first person to travel 24,000 km over land and water on the Trans Canada Trail – the longest trail in the world.
Paramount+ held a special screening at Hot Docs in Toronto on Thursday, March 14 which featured a Q&A with Whelan and Teri Hart where the filmmakers quote, “We used to live in a society and now we live in an economy,” resounded heavily with the audience.
500 Days in the Wild, honoured with the Audience Award at the 2023 Whistler Film Festival, is now streaming on Paramount+ in Canada.
