Big Brother Exit Interview: T’Kor Clottey

tkor clottey big brother exit interview season 26

Big Brother’s T’Kor Clottey was the latest houseguest evicted and the latest member of the jury. The TV Watercooler had the opportunity to submit questions for this week’s jury pool and T’Kor revealed to us what she’s looking forward to discussing the most in jury, and which strategies helped keep her off the block for two months.

What are you looking forward to discussing with the other jury members?

Honestly, I’m really excited to hear about everybody’s perspective and perceptions on this game! There were a lot of things going on that I didn’t necessarily know that was happening and I think that people are perceiving peoples’ games in very different ways, so it’ll be really interesting to be able to hear that perspective and share mine.

What strategies do you think contributed the most to keeping you off the block for two months?

I would say that in the beginning, coming off as non-threatening, and someone who you know wasn’t necessarily going to win a lot of comps, but I could also be someone who could be an additive and be a value to people’s games.

Ultimately, my strategy in this game was just to protect the people that I wanted to protect the most in this game. For a lot of the time, those people were Kimo, Rubina, and Chelsie. And you know, with that kind of foresight in mind, that’s kind of how I went forward with my game.

Some highlights from the other questions that T’Kor answered:

Worst Part of Jankie World:

  • Harsh living conditions: “It’s blistering hot during the day, but it’s cold as heck at night. You’re eating nothing but pizza and ice cream for seven days straight.”
  • Hard to talk game: “There’s no room for you to have your own conversations [to talk game]. My closest allies were on the block, and then I was on the block – so it was definitely a brutal situation.”

T’Kor’s Anxiety: Despite appearing calm, cool, and collected, T’Kor was actually stressed and anxious about the game’s developments. “Every single day, I was an anxious mess. Even on evictions – and even if I wasn’t on the block, or if one of my allies weren’t on the block – I was still very anxious about how that vote would go and [wondered] what would happen during the next H.O.H? Or what would happen during the next Veto?”

Losing the Veto: T’Kor believes that winning the Veto would have been crucial for staying in the game. “I could have won the Veto. Had I won the Veto, I could have also used it to get one of my other allies off the block, and then I could have used my skills of persuasion to try to get the votes to keep the other person safe.”

Hopes She Sees Leah in the Jury House: “I love everyone. I’m rooting for everyone, regardless of who makes it to the end… However, I can’t say that I wouldn’t like a bit of revenge! I would love to see the person who put me on the block follow me into the jury house!”

Tucker’s Eviction Changed the Dynamics in the House: T’Kor acknowledged that Tucker’s evictions changed the dynamics inside the Big Brother house but stands by her decision to nominate him, even as a pawn. “I don’t necessarily regret the people that I put up. It was very much an interest for me to get a competitor out as I’m not a physical player. I did not want that to be Tucker because he was the pawn. I wanted him to with the Veto or win in the A.I. Arena to eventually get [another] competitor out. It wasn’t the result that I wanted or the one that I envisioned, but I don’t regret my decision at that moment because had I made any other decision, it could have led to me being on the block sooner.”

The Strongest Players Inside the House Right Now: T’Kor believes that Kimo, Rubina, Chelsie, and Makensy are playing strong games and all have a good chance of going further. “I would love for Keemo and Rubina to go far in this game! I have been rooting for them since day one, and I know they have the fight and drive in them to go very far. I also believe that Chelsie and Makensy are playing very great games. Both of them have had to be in a place of survival at one point where they really had to re-evaluate and re-align their statures and place in the game. Both of them have fought incredibly to win in those A.I. Arenas and put themselves in good social positions. They are both great players and are both playing very strong games right now.”

Big Brother next airs this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, and Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Global and CBS.
