Sure, The Boys are finally back for season two and we’ll soon be able to check out the new version of Utopia, but Canadians are finally getting the chance to stream all seven seasons of The Golden Girls!
Marking the classic sitcom’s 35th anniversary, the beloved series starring Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty will become available on Amazon Prime Video in Canada on Monday, September 14.
Premiering Friday, September 4 with three new episodes, The Boys‘ second season will see our crew on the run from the law and hunted by the Supes as they desperately try to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Alonso), Frenchie (Capon), and Kimiko (Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Moriarty) tries to navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. New episodes will debut each Friday through October 9.
Inspired by the British series, Utopia premieres on Friday, September 25, and centers on a group of comic fans who meet online and bond over a seemingly fictional comic called “Utopia.” Together, they unearth the hidden meanings cloaked within the pages of the comic book, predicting threats to humanity. Utopia’s cast includes Dan Byrn, Desmin Borges, John Cusack, Rainn Wilson, Ashleigh LaThrop, Jessica Rothe, Javon “Wanna” Walton and Sasha Green.
