The Bold and the Beautiful Returns to CTV

Canadian soap fans will need to update their PVRs as The Bold and the Beautiful will return to CTV!

Beginning Monday, September 4, 2023, The Bold and the Beautiful will make the move from CTV2 to CTV. The series will continue to air at 1:30 p.m. ET – as a simulcast with CBS. (Please check local listings for other time zones.)

Update (Sept. 5): CTV 2 will broadcast a new episode of The Bold and the Beautiful before CTV simulcasts it with CBS. Fans can check their local listings to see when it will air. For example, in the Toronto market, a new episode of B&B will air at 10 a.m. on CTV 2 and again at 1:30 p.m. on CTV. Please check local listings for other areas and time zones.

The Bold and the Beautiful will continue to stream daily on CTV.ca and the CTV app while a full week’s worth of episodes are added to Crave each week.

The soap had previously been a staple of CTV’s daytime schedule until execs decided to move the series to its sister network in 2013 in favour of airing a block of U.S. talk shows including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dr. Phil, and Dr. Oz. Other soaps to have aired on CTV include Another World, Passions, and General Hospital (now on Citytv).

The Bold and the Beautiful premiered on Wednesday, March 23, 1987, and is set in the glamourous world of the Los Angeles fashion industry. The soap stars veteran cast members John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) and has won over 100 Daytime Emmy Awards and is the most-watched U.S.-produced daytime drama in the world.

Canadians Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) and Tanner Novlan (John “Finn” Finnegan) also star.
