Based on the iconic Law & Order franchise, this Canadian adaptation starts Aden Young (Rectify) as Detective Sergeant Henry Graff, Kathleen Munroe (Chicago Med) as Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman, Karen Robinson (Schitt’s Creek) as Inspector Vivienne Holness, K.C. Collins (The Cleaning Lady) as Deputy Crown Attorney Theo Forrester, Nicola Correia-Damude (Shadowhunters) as Forensic Pathologist Dr. Lucy Da Silver, and Araya Mengesha (Anne with an E) as tech expert Mark Yohannes.

Set in Canada’s largest metropolis, the cases featured in the first season of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent are inspired by some of the country’s biggest headlines – diving into the worlds of high finance, politics, real estate, media, and more. Viewers familiar with Toronto can expect to see the old-money glamour of Rosedale’s ravine-side homes to the vibrant, family-owned shops of Little India, City Hall, and the city’s underpasses.

The series joins Citytv’s Thursday night lineup which features Dick Wolf’s U.S. Law & Order franchise with the original series now airing at 7 p.m. ET. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will then air at 9 p.m. ET, followed by Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10 p.m. While the three U.S. series air on NBC, there is no word yet when Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent will become available internationally.

Citytv will also rebroadcast the series on Sundays at 7 p.m. ET, and it will be available on demand, Citytv.com, the Citytv app, and the Citytv+ streaming service which is available on Prime Video.
