— The Bold and the Beautiful is reviving the Spectra clan in preparation for the soap’s 30th anniversary on March 23. Fans were treated to a twist at the end of the January 31 episode as a redheaded woman signed a cheque with the name “Sally Spectra.” The new Sally is the grand niece of her popular namesake who was played by Darlene Conley from 1988-2006 and is played by Transparent’s Courtney Hope. Days of our Lives’ Patrika Darbo has been cast as Shirley Spectra, Sally’s (Sr.) sister. Broadway actor Alex Wyse will play Saul (the grandson of original Saul, who was played by Michael Fox). Danube Hermosillo (Modern Family) will play Darlita. The soap is also bringing back Mick Cain as Sally’s son CJ (no word yet for how long).
