Entertainment Weekly has your first looks at both Black Panther and A Wrinkle In Time.

— Canadian specialty network Bravo’s new show, Carter, sounds a lot like The Grinder, but with a detective instead of a lawyer. It’ll star Jerry O’Connell, Orphan Black’s Kristian Bruun and Sydney Tamiia Poitier (Veronica Mars). Begins filming in North Bay, Ontario. I feel like it’s going to be The Grinder meets Private Eyes.

— Fox’s Empire and Star will have a crossover event on Sept. 27th. I never bothered to check out Star last season and I keep putting off catching up on Empire — blame Netflix for that one.

Dan Levy and Julia Chan (Saving Hope) will host the CBC’s Great Canadian Baking Show, which begins shooting this week and will premiere on Nov. 1. With Dan (of Schitt’s Creek) and Jessi Cruickshank (The Goods), CBC is looking a whole lot like MTV Canada during it’s The Hills After Show heyday — which was a decade ago!

Christmas will leave the Big Brother house today to undergo surgery on her foot. She’d only be gone for 4 to 6 hours according to the live feeds. There’s a new episode tonight (8pm on Global/CBS) and live eviction tomorrow (9pm Global/CBS).

— There are two new shows debuting in Canada tonight! Claws finally has its Canadian premiere (10pm on Bravo). I saw the pilot while on vacation in Seattle last month and thought it was great — so great, that I couldn’t wait for Bravo to start airing it. The cast is great (Niecy NashDean NorrisCarrie PrestonJudy ReyesHarold Parineau). Rashida Jones (Parks & Rec) is on the production team.

Salvation also premieres tonight (9pm on Global/CBS). Jennifer Finnigan told TV Line yesterday that the asteroid drama is “her favourite show” that she’s ever done. Here I was hoping it was Student Bodies (she played Kim)! Although her performance of Bridget confronting Deacon for fathering a child with her mother on Bold and the Beautiful’s 2002 Independence Day is still chilling. I haven’t had a chance to watch Salvation yet so I’ll tune in tonight. It also stars Big Little LiesSantiago Cabrera and was filmed in Toronto.

Suits is also back for its seventh season tonight (9pm Bravo) and it looks like we’ll get Harvey and Mike back in a courtroom together. As with previous seasons, Season 7 will be split in two, the first 10 eps air through September and the last six eps will air early in the new year.

— Netflix has released its full-length trailer for Ozark. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney star in this new series about a Chicago financial advisor who has been quietly laundering money for a drug kingpin and must quickly uproot his kids and move the operation to The Ozarks after his partner is caught cheating the business. Premieres next Friday (July 21).
