Outlander is on the move. The Golden Globe nominated series will have a new broadcast home when it premieres its third season this fall. Corus Entertainment will be moving Outlander from Showcase to W Network.
The third season of the epic love story and adventure will premiere Sunday, September 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT — in line with its premiere in the U.S. on Starz. In preparation for the fall premiere, W Network has been rebroadcasting the series (check listings).
Outlander’s third season picks up after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. She’s now pregnant with Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) child and struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance and its effect on her marriage to her (first) husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies). Back in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. The third season will examine how Jamie and Claire will make lives for themselves while apart from each other and how they’ll find their way back to each other.
I don’t have cable. How can I stream Outlander Season 3 by buying a subscription?
Sorry to hear Outlander (Season 3) will air on W Network instead of Showcase, like before. W Network is not available in my area (Quebec City)
Thanks for moving the show to a channel I don’t have. Only in Canada.
I just hope that W doesn’t do the same thing as they did with The Good Fight. They had about 5 episodes on and then it vanished, but it is still being produced.
