BBC and HBO adapt Philip Pullman’s award-winning trilogy, His Dark Materials premieres on Monday, November 4. The series is about Lyra (Logan’s Dafne Keen), a seemingly ordinary but braver young woman from another world whose search for a kidnapped friend uncovers a sinister plot involving stolen children and becomes a quest to understand a mysterious phenomenon called Dust. The series also stars Ruth Wilson (The Affair) as Mrs. Coulter, Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) as Lee Scoresby, James McAvoy (X-Men) as Lord Asriel, Clarke Peters (The Wire) as The Master of Jordan College, James Cosmo as Farder Coram, Anne-Marie Duff as Ma Costa, Will Keen as Father MacPhail, and Ariyon Bakare as Lord Boreal.

Premieres:

  • Showtime’s Shameless (Season 10) premieres Sunday, November 10. New episodes available weekly at 9 p.m. ET
  • Starz’ Dublin Murders debuts on November 10 in Canada.
  • British series Back to Life drops on November 10 (all six episodes).
  • Hulu series Dollface premieres all 10 episodes on November 15.
  • Showtime’s Ray Donovan premieres its 7th season on November 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
  • VICE’s Dark Side of the Ring drops all six episodes on November 29.
