Alyssa Snider was evicted from the Big Brother house on September 15. Before she left for the jury house, The TV Watercooler had the opportunity to connect with Alyssa about what Brittany whispered to her on her way out, breaking up with Kyle, and her favourite memory from inside the house.
Are you able to tell us what Brittany whispered to you on your way out?
Yes! Brittany whispered to me that she was the sole vote to keep me in the house, which implies that Turner betrayed me and voted me out!
Was it more difficult to vote Kyle out or break up with him?
Definitely break up with him. Our relationship was really real. Those were real emotions and I really loved him so much. But that doesn’t change what was right in the moment. Breaking up with him was one of the most difficult things I had to do.
Did anyone’s goodbye message change your opinion about them as you head to jury?
Honestly, Brittany’s. She seemed like she was really on my side and she had my best interest in mind. She really felt genuine to me. It makes me love her so much more!
You mentioned to Julie that you were rooting for two women in the final two, but could some of that self-described “saltyness” end towards Turner?
I guess a little bit. I mean, I’m not necessarily salty towards Turner. I just don’t understand his decision because I was good for his game, I was good for his personal life, and he voted me out of the house! But, I’ve always wanted to see two women in the end, so I’m still rooting for Taylor and Brittany to get there.
What’s been your favourite memory from inside the house?
There’s been a lot of amazing memories from inside the Big Brother house, but honestly, I’d have to say that one of my favourite memories was at “Dyre Fest,” sleeping in our little blankets and sleeping bags…just sleeping under the stars with Turner, Joseph, and Kyle. I felt like I was at a slumber party when I was a kid.
Big Brother next airs this Sunday (Sept. 18) and Thursday (Sept. 22), with the finale airing on Sunday, Sept. 25 on Global and CBS. Canadians can catch up on demand, STACKTV, the Global TV app, and at GlobalTV.com.
