Big Brother Exit Interview: Red Utley

red utley big brother exit interview

Red Utley was the latest houseguest to be evicted on Big Brother. The TV Watercooler had the opportunity to chat with Red following his eviction to see if he had a chance to patch things up with Cameron, and who he thinks is the most dangerous player inside the house.

Did you and Cameron manage to patch things up before you left? He looked blindsided. Were you?

I was absolutely blindsided. We were going to have a conversation had I made it through eviction night. I think ultimately that’s what signed my eviction notice, is that people knew that we were going to get back together. And I think we were a force to be worried about, honestly.

How did you feel about the revelation that Cirie and Jared are mother and son? Looking back, were there any clues?

Honestly, there were a few. You know, they seemed so close. But the thing about Big Brother is that it’s a microcosm that forces you to develop relationships so quickly. Within moments of getting in the house, you kind of pick people that you want to build relationships with, and I think Cirie is a pro at that.

So, it was really hard to tell whether or not the relationship she had with Jared was one that had developed that way, or if it was one that from outside.

What are your thoughts on Cameron winning HOH?

I’m ticked to death! I’m glad that he’s staying in there, being the beast that we all know he is. The moves he’s making to knock down the three [Cirie, Felicia and Izzy] that are after him are key for him to stay in this game.

Hopefully, he can get one of them out… Which he obviously will. And then also develop [relationships] with some people to work with because I feel like he’s on an island right now and he needs some people moving forward in the cause.

Who are you hoping goes home this week?

Honestly, I thought the best thing for his game would have been to backdoor Cirie. Cirie is the most dangerous player in the game at this point, but I’m not sure that everybody realizes it yet.

Who do you think was the most untrustworthy?

It has to be Cirie, but you can’t really hold it against her… She’s been on multiple reality shows where to move forward, manipulation is key. She’s a professional.

Who are you rooting for?

My boy Cam. Obviously, I wish I had a chance to mend things and get things right before I headed out. But it is what it is. I know when he gets out, there’s a couple of beers in both of our futures!

Big Brother next airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Sunday at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, and Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Global and CBS.
